Saxon silver sceat, Continental Issue c.695-c.740 AD. Spink 791 var. Obv: Degenerate head right devolved into a plumed bird; flower(?) between three toed legs, cross pommée under tail and before neck. Rev: Square standard; large annulet enclosing a weak pellet at centre, two pellets above, one below; 'L's and 'I's in quarters, outer quarters also decorated.
