A WW1 Medal Group awarded to 991 Sjt A W Box, Hampshire Regiment and comprising the British War Medal, Victory Medal, Territorial Overseas Medal and a Territorial Efficiency Medal, the latter inscribed to 305106 Sjt A W Box 7/Hampshire R, mounted as worn (ribbons in poor condition), plus a WW2 Defence Medal in original box and with paperwork for Mr A W Box: There is also an original medal box addressed to Mr A W C Box (Sjt Box's son) with paperwork containing a 39-45 War Medal, 39-45 Star and an Italy Star, apparently unworn with ribbons. Finally there is a silver gilt medal awarded to Brother A Box for services rendered as City Waiter by the Royal Antidiluvian Order of Buffaloes.
