AN 18CT GOLD, LATE VICTORIAN SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND RING, of a large marquise form set centrally with a row of five oval cut blue sapphires, within a surround of old cut diamonds, estimated total diamond weight 0.80cts, approximate length of ring head 21.2mm x width 7.8mm, openwork detailed gallery, scroll design to the shoulders with a stamped 'M' date letter to the outer shoulder, polished tapered band, hallmarked 18ct London 1887, ring size P, approximate gross weight 7.6 grams (condition report: colour zoning to the sapphires with some general light wear, all diamonds are intact and secure in their settings, one diamond has some chips to the crown)
