Thornton Butterworth edition is in good overall order, save for slipcase, which is tatty, with tears to corners. Some marking/discolouration to spine, with bumps to foot of spine. The page on which the snipe plate is mounted is browned. Plates elsewhere with some light foxing. Some pages are uncut.
Other volumes are in fair to good condition, with variable levels of foxing and marking to pages throughout. Top page edges are all rather dirty/dusty. The two-volume blue cloth-bound set have some deterioration to spines. The green and blue editions with Bewick illustrations with some splitting the the textblock. The Kearton edition with an old taped repair to hinge, which has discoloured the endpapers. Further damage where it appear a bookplate may have been removed. Dustjackets are all worn, generally marked and with tears in places.
