A RARE DERBY STEVENSON & HANCOCK PORCELAIN BLANC DE CHINE MODEL OF A NOVELTY PIG
Blue painted mark or thumb transferred used, 1862 - 1935, a Royal Doulton Lambeth model of a seated monkey (HN118), issued 1912, natural grey glazed and modelled seated with folded arms, an early example (possibly designed by Leslie Harradine), circle mark used on small objects of Doulton Lambeth, 1902 - 1956, along with a Continental hard paste porcelain miniature figure of a seated monkey in light brown glazes, Circa 1900.
(pig length 8cm x length h 4cm, Doulton monkey h 7.5cm)

Condition: some restoration to pigs ears and tail, tiny chip to monkeys base circle mark
