A cabside numberplate E3028 from a BR Class 83 electric built by English Electric/Vulcan Foundry Works Nos 2932/E268 in September 1960, for the West Coast Main Line, becoming 83005 in April 1972. Withdrawn from Longsight in August 1983, it was cut up by V.Berry at Leicester in September 1984. chromed characters on steel backplate, 32"x7½", in ex loco condition. (Postage Band: D)
