Autograph letter signed ' Wellington' to Sir Charles Stuart, British envoy to Portugal, January 1810 - October 1812, 3pp., small folio, Gouvea, Sept. 13th 1810. Dispatch giving details of the treatment of prisoners during the Peninsular War and the present state of the French forces. He refers to a Mr. Le Court who 'was employed by me to take care of the French prisoners going home from Oporto last year', and 'I think the French have got a reinforcement, not only from Nantes but from a corps which was at Versailles¦' Gurwood.
