A PAIR OF LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH PORCELAIN POT POURRI PEDESTAL BALUSTER VASES AND COVERS, Rose Du Barry pink ground with gilt detail, pine cone finials above teardrop piercing to the domed covers, the vases both painted with an oval portrait of an 18th century style lady and a panel of a fete champetre, the reverse side painted with two sprays of white roses, unmarked, height 56cm (2) (Condition Report: the vase with the portrait of the lady wearing a hat has extensive and heavy loss to the gilding throughout, but appears to be free of chips, cracks and restoration, the other vase also has extensive and heavy loss to the gilding, the cover has been broken and with old riveted repairs and losses)
