Two silver novelty salt and pepper pots, Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings Shepherd, Chester 1893-94, designed as a tea pot, 3.4cm high and a side pouring coffee pot, 5.4cm high, with a Victorian silver pill pot, Birmingham 1894, gross weight 2ozt (3)

More Information

Hallmarks to the bases are clear and legible, gilt interiors to the pots are slightly tarnished from usage and the gilt interior to the pill pot is particularly faded, the three removable covers sit well, the two pots exhibit some minor surface scratching, as does the pill pot, however some small dents are also visible to the pill pot and the relief around the cartouche is a slightly rubbed. Overall, all show small signs of wear commensurate with age and usage. Please see additional images to illustrate points.
