China, 3 items of stamps / postal history all to same address in Eire, 1941, all Censored. Three different Censor tapes. Two covers have red chops, one has boxed 'not opened by censor' cachet in violet though it was Censored on arrival. The third cover is hand - illustrated (Chinaman and Camel train) in colour and has bi-lingual 'RELEASED BY CENSOR' cachet in green. Also included is a copy of a letter written to the sender, detailing an escape over the mountains and bombings. The sender and his wife were missionaries; the wife wrote a text book on botany - details included.
