The Alfa Romeo GTV6 was introduced in 1980, taking the Giugiaro designed Alfetta GT fastback coupe and dropping in Alfa's Busso V6 engine with Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection. The car received rave reviews from the motoring press and went on to have a successful career in Touring Car racing.
The 1983 Alfetta GTV6 offered here is a fine example of the rare and sought after V6 GTV. It is said to have undergone comprehensive recommissioning prior to purchase, but has been unused by it's elderly owner for more than 2 years. The car was taken out of its dry garage at the beginning of June and is running well, and it comes with a new MoT. It is clearly a well looked after car, with Koni shocks, Eibach rear springs, stainless rear exhaust, very rare full leather interior in first class condition, and equally rare sunroof. This example has none of the usual Alfa bodywork issues.
