WW2 Imperial Japanese era Wakizashi Sword with single edged blade 39cm in length. No Hamon line visible. Iron Tsuba. Shagreen grip with original cloth binding with three Menuki in place. Tang is unsigned. Overall length 540mm. Wooden Saya scabbard has some splitting to top and the Kurigata is loose.

Blade has some greying and some small nicks to the cutting edge. Damage to the scabbard throat with splits and loss of wood and decorative covering.
