AN 1822/1845 PATTERN INFANTRY OFFICERS SWORD BY MILLAN AND SON.
With an 82cm slightly curved fullered and pointed blade etched with a Royal Crown and VR monogram amongst scrolling decoration, the blade marked for Millan and Son, 32 George St, Edinburgh. The brass guard with VR cypher amongst flowers within an oval, with folding rear section, with wire bound fish skin grip. The steel scabbard with twin ring suspension, 99cm overall.
