A scarce 10 bore Victorian Brown Bess flintlock musket, 55" overall, barrel 39" with ordnance proofs and standing rearsight, lock stamped with crowned "VR, Tower", and lock viewer's mark, the plate with rounded tail and double line border; walnut fullstock, butt stamped with broad arrow and "BO" (faint) and Pimlico 1860 storekeeper's mark; with brass mounts, sling swivels, original steel ramrod, and a triangular socket bayonet by J. Roe, socket engraved "78/Lt.14". Good Working Order and Clean Condition. Plate 35
