These engravings of exotic moths are from Sir William Jardine’s The Naturalist's Library – Entomology, Volume VII, Exotic Moths by James Duncan. Published by?WH Lizars, Edinburgh 1841.

These exquisite hand-coloured steel engravings were drawn by James Duncan (1804–1861), a?renowned Scottish?naturalist and engraved by WH Lizars.

Each print measures approximately 4in x 6.5in (10cm x 15.5cm).
