Military Medal GV of 2247 (570547) Serjeant Charles Attwaters M.M. A resident of Lime House, London and member of the 17th (Poplar and Stepney Rifles) London Regiment, Territorial Force. Landed in France on 9th March 1915 and saw service until 29th August 1916, when he was medically evacuated to the United Kingdom. The award of his Military Medal was published in the London Gazette on 12th September 1916. He returned to duty in France on 12th October 1917 until 6th December 1917, when he was again medically evacuated.
