Militaria: An RAF Type P10 military aircraft compass. Struck ‘P.10 No16816 8’ to the top with broad arrow mark and code 6A/1671 to the side. Stamped ACO/R/55 beneath. Marked P10 to the wooden case. Possibly once fitted to a Hawker Hunter or Supermarine Spitfire. Compass: 18.5 cm diameter. Case: 22.8 cm width.
