An oak moonphase longcase clock the eight-day duration movement striking the hours on a bell with the twelve-inch break-arch dial having black Roman hour numerals, Arabic five-minute numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture, blued-steel hands, decorative floral corner spandrels with the arch showing the phases of the moon, the iron false-plate to the rear embossed with the dialmaker's name Wilson, Birmingham,the oak case having fan inlay to the door, hood and raised panel to the base, with canted corners to the trunk, full pillars to the hood and surmounted by a swan-neck pediment, height 222cm inc. centre finial.
