A SECOND WORLD WAR WAFFEN-SS 'WESTLAND' CUFFBAND. A Waffen-SS 'Westland' cuffband. RZM type machine woven in grey cotton against a black ground with silver wire borders. As worn by members of the SS-Panzer-Grenadier_rgt 'Westland', part of the 5th SS-Panzer-Division 'Wiking'. 3.0 x 36 cm. Probably removed from a tunic.
Worn condition, slight wear in places, signs of having been removed from a tunic.
