A porcelain part tea service, early 19th century, circa 1825 comprising: a teapot, cover and stand, a milk jug, a twin handled sugar bowl, a serving bowl and cover, a sugar bowl and cover, seven side plates, two plates, five teacups and saucers, seven coffee cans and eight saucers, a serving bowl, each piece decorated with floral and foliate sprays to a cobalt ground, gilt highlights and banding throughout, see Miller and Berthoud plate 1656 for a similar teapot shape (Qty) (at fault)

More Information

All pieces show rubbing to gilt highlights commensurate with use and age. Several pieces have hairline cracks and chips (please see photos). The serving bowl has a loss to the finial. The teapot shows a small chip to the spout.
