Fees

A late George III oak cased longcase clock signed 'Moses Evans, Llangernew', the twin swan neck hood with freestanding pillars flanking the 33cm painted square dial, centred with a date aperture and subsidiary second dial, signed with the makers name and enclosing the two train movement striking on a saucer bell, the case with conforming quarter pilasters and a door with shaped upper corners, upon bracket feet, 206cm high, two weights and pendulum

More Information

Replaced movement board and guide rails to the cheek pieces, the back board also replaced indicating the clock has undergone a degree of restoration and possibly the clock movement is associated to the case.
The movement looks/clean well maintained however this cannot be taken as a guarantee of working condition.
Overall the clock appears to be in sound condition with no visible damage or faults to the case, although it appears to have had some sympathetic restoration
