A worksplate, BUILT 1965 SWINDON, from BR Class 14 D9552 allocated new to Cardiff Canton in September 1965 and withdrawn from Hull Dairycoates in April 1968. It was then acquired by the British Steel Corporation, their No 59, and worked at Buckminster from September 1968 until June 1972 and at Corby Steelworks from June 1972 until September 1980 when it was scrapped. Cast alloy, 10½"x6", ex loco condition with BR blue paintwork. (Postage Band: B)
