A late 19c small French figural mantel clock, the single train movement having a cylinder platform escapement. The convex 5.5cm white enamel dial has Arabic numerals and fancy gilt hands and is contained in an ormolu and variegated marble case. The ormolu drum of the clock is flanked by a figure of Diana the huntress and her dog and stands on a variegated marble plinth with an inset panel of ormolu foliage and has ormolu bun feet. The clock stands 19cm tall.

The movement seems complete but is reluctant to run. the dial and glass are undamaged, as is the case but the figure of Diana is slightly loose and needs tightening.
