A Georgian figural silkwork panel, dated 1826. Of oval form, depicting a female figure feeding chickens in a rural landscape enclosed within a verre églomisé mount inscribed ’Sarah Whitehouse’s Work Aged 9, 1826’ and gilt frame of the period. Oval: 22.5 cm x 16.2 cm. Frame: 30.7 cm x 24.7 cm.
