An early 20th Century Sherwin & Cotton dust pressed Emaux Ombrants tile depicting a black and white terrier modelled by George Cartlidge and picked out in a sepia glaze, together with a similar example portrait tile of Gladstone in ochre glaze, one of Joseph Chamberlain and a further relief moulded tile depicting a classical figure within a pattern roundel in ochre glaze. (5)
There is age related wear and crazing to the five tiles with losses to corners and margins.
