Circle of David Morier (Anglo-Swiss, 1705-1770) - Believed Equestrian portrait of King George II - An original oil on canvas portrait painting of monarch on horseback. In military uniform with hat, staff in hand and armour. The subject sat on a red & gilt painted saddle with matching bag. The horse in rampant position. Trees and soldiers in the background with town view in the far centre. Unsigned. Framed in giltwood frame.



(Measures approx. 107cm x 90cm including frame)

Paint a little dirty with some yellowing but otherwise in good condition.
