A 17th century Chinese hand forged iron Mortar or Hand Cannon mounted on a later wooden carriage with iron fittings. The barrel having a length of 13cms (5.125ins) and diameter of 8.5cms (3.375ins) with an approximate bore of 3.5cms (1.375ins) and a depth to the vent hole of 11cms (4.25ins).
