A VICTORIAN SILVER CANDLESTICK

by Richard Hodd I & Richard Hodd II, London 1873, the ovoid sconce with a beaded nozzle, applied with Classical figures above ribbon-tied swags, the square base with beaded borders and leaf-form corners, weighted; together with another Victorian silver columnar candlestick, marks rubbed. (2) Tallest 16cm



First: The marks are clear. Engraved with a crest. The nozzle rim is misshapen, and the nozzle is stuck in the sconce.

Second: In poor condition with damage and losses.
