1870 silver unboxed four-coin Maundy Money set from the reign of Queen Victoria (S 3916). Includes (1) 1870 Maundy silver Fourpence, (2) 1870 Maundy silver Threepence, (3) 1870 Maundy silver Twopence, and (4) 1870 Maundy silver Penny. Obverses: filleted 'Young Head' royal portrait by engraver William Wyon, facing left with 'VICTORIA D: G: BRITANNIAR: REGINA F: D:' around. Reverses: crowned numeral dividing the date (1870), surrounded by a wreath of oak leaves. These coins are offered without the original box. Composition: 925 silver. Grade: uncirculated.
