A GEORGE III IRISH SILVER SALVER
by William Thompson, Dublin, c.1796, circular form, with gadrooned foliate rim, engraved to the centre with an armorial crest surrounded by scrolling foliage, raised on three scroll shell pad feet. 34cm diameter, 39 troy ounces
Hallmarks are clear and well struck, engraving is rubbed, some surface scratches commensurate with age and use.
