A small collection of three mid century pewter example by Haugrud, Sweden and Royal Selangor, Malaysia. Two Haugrud examples being a bulbous handled bud vase / pouring vessel and a lidded pot of circular form, both being cast in low relief with raised abstract motif design to surfaces. Both stamped to the underside 'Pewter / Haugrud / Norway - 23 & 436' respectively. Third example being a bud vase with floral decoration to body and beaded decoration to base by Royal Selangor. High quality cast pewter consists of 92% to 97% tin with a small proportion of copper and antimony added to strengthen the alloy – the highest international standard for pewter. Largest measures 18.5cm (height).
