A Republic period circular two tier brass tray-top folding table. The top of the tray in solid brass with a raised scalloped shape, & raised pie crust edge. The surface of the tray is decorated with engraved Eight Immortals figures in the centre with floral details around these central figures, along with a smaller tray with same figurines. The folding base is constructed of a hard wood with an ebonised finish in a form of a dragon. Measures approx. 75cm tall x 85cm diameter, large brass tray top 65cm diameter.
