A 19th century Franglais gilt-bronze mounted tortoiseshell, brass and mother of pearl marquetry centre table, in the manner of André-Charles Boulle, rectangular top inlaid with scrolling and trailing leaves and chinoiserie and mythical depictions with a Chinese liuqin player and his dancing companion, birds and further figures, the centre inlaid for chess, above a long frieze drawer, each frieze and angle cast and applied with a bearded mask, French cabriole legs, bestial hoof sabots, 72cm high, 78.5cm wide, 45cm deep, c.1850
