London Underground Poster Dora M Batty RAF Display Colindale. Original vintage London Transport poster for RAF Display that took place on June 25 1932. Art Deco design by Dora Margaret Batty (1891-1966) features an elegant image of a plane looping in the sky leaving a contrail. Printed by the Dangerfield Printing Company Ltd. London Transport logo in the top left corner. Hendon Aerodrome was an important centre for aviation hosting various Royal Air Force aircraft displays and pageants; today it houses Royal Air Force Museum.
