An early 19th century white and yellow metal mourning brooch, the central panel with hair work within a border of old cut paste stones, initialled 'AC' to verso, 4.5cms (1.75ins) wide.
two stones on the inner circle of the right hand side are chipped, other stones have some very minor chips otherwise good condition
