David Waller oil on canvas "autumn unearthed" this painting is based on a period in the mid 1920s sister fowler steam ploughing engines number 15340 and number15341 are shown pulling a six furrow plough through the rich soil in prepartion for a new growing season. The plough inset used in this painting, was at the time owned and worked by robert j holland of bright walton berkshire. Autumn unearthed is the last painting in the series four seasons in steam. Published for the internationally distributed magazine, old glory as a limited edition print. measures 24" x 36" . I think you will agree that the deatial show by david in his work here is absolutely stunning and the detail is some of the best we have seen in our auction room. David wallers work is sure to be highly sought after in the future
