Author and photographer his work is very well known and respected. We all no doubt have many of his books in our collections. This lot dates from the early 1970`s and features modern traction pre-tops and later, main line and branch lines (some disused).Noted: St Austell, Kings Cross, Sonning, Penistone (class 44 tour), Lostwithiel (Western), Kyle of Lochalsh, Rannoch, Newcastle, Maiden Newton, Barnstaple, Bridport, Okehampton etc. Note some photos are repeats of the same subject.
