An Original Memorial Card for Rory O'Connor, Liam Mellowes, Richard Barrett and Joseph McKelvey, excuted on 8th December 1922. Just one year and two days after Ireland achieved a level of independence, four of the men (one from each province) who fought in the War of Independence against British forces were executed in MOuntjoy Gaol by Irish Free State Forces.
