WW1 Imperial German Mauser 95/05 Butcher Bayonet with fullered single edged blade 362mm in length with sawback period removed. Maker marked "Waffenfabrik Mauser Oberndorf a N". Spine of blade dated "15". Wooden grips with flashguard. Working release catch. Overall length 495mm. Complete with scabbard.
Some old rust pitting to blade which has been cleaned at some point in time.
