A French 19c ormolu jewel casket decorated with five pietra dura floral panels, all of oval form. The box with a hinge shaped cover having rope twist rim, rococo cast corner mounts and the sides are decorated with two oval lapis lazuli panels. The base is stamped Moreaux. 12cms l x 6cms h.
The pietra dura panel to the lid has three short cracks through the lily flower.
