A 99% Built Five Inch Gauge Live Steam 0-6-0 BR Class 1500 (G.W.R 15XX) Tank Locomotive, we assume it is a "Speedy", built to a Martin Evans Design (there are no build plans, certification or provenance). It is a very well detailed and engineered model with excellent body work and rivet detail, a comprehensively equipped backhead/cab, outside cylinders with pistol valves, actuated by Walschearts valve gear, steps, lamp brackets, tank filled caps, tool box, etc, (cylinder covers, ash pan, etc, are unfitted but present), Currently unpainted, finished in brass and bright metal. It is unsteamed and whilst there is no history, we understand it has been tested on air. Overall a superb model worthy of detailed inspection, length 36 inch, width 10 inch, 13 inch high.
