WWI/Royal Navy: Rare pair of documents obtained by Able Seaman John Johnson who served onboard H.M.S. Revenge a Super Dreadnought Battleship. The first document is printed 'NOT FOR PUBLICATION' speech by Admiral Sir David Beatty Commander in Chief of The Grand Fleet onboard HMS Revenge 23rd November 1918 relating to their victory over The German Fleet. Revenge was part of The Grand Fleet who escorted the defeated German Fleet to interment at Scapa Flow. The second document is a printed memorandum dated 21st November 1918 from Sir David Beatty To The Grand Fleet expressing congratulations on the victory over the enemy. (2)
