Approximately 110 real photographic Monarch Series postcards by R Johnston of the Northumberland and Durham area, with around 50 cards each from the series numbered in the 12,000s (from 12,019 to 12,985) and 13,000s (13,000 to £13,955) and five cards from the 14,000s. there are seafront, coastal views and strong street scenes including two of Low Fell. These are mainly in good condition, though 3 or 4 have corner creasing, and others generally minor faults.
