1984 Anthony Zemaitis Custom Deluxe six string bass guitar, made in England; Body: mahogany with Danny O'Brien engraved alloy metal front and plain alloy control plate, various minor dings and marks but generally good for age; Neck: mahogany with architectural head and large inlaid pearl Z; Fretboard: ebony with diamond pearl and red dot position markers; Electrics: working, Kent Armstrong Triple Sound pickup with coil switching; Hardware: Schaller tuners, hand tooled alloy bridge and stop bar; Weight: 5.96kg; Overall condition: good for age

*Thought to be the only 6 string bass made by Anthony Zemaitis for Melvin Whittaker in 1976. This is a very rare custom order instrument and is featured in an article in The Z Gazette, issue 14, spring 2000, where it can be seen in a photograph of the Mel's collection.

Sold with a certificate of authenticity from Keith Smart, chairman of The Zemaitis Guitar Owners Club, confirming that this is a genuine Zemaitis commenting that is a very rare instrument.
