TRANS ATLANTIC FLIGHTS FROM EGYPT DURING WWII; 1939-44 envs (21) flown from Egypt by the trans atlantic route inc. 21 Oct 1939 env. from Alexandria to USA via BOAC Imperial route. 9 Jan 1942 env from Cairo to Durban by BOAC "horseshoe" route of Durban to Cape Town then to New York by sea. 10 April 1942 from Cairo to Khartoum, Lagos and BOAC to N. York by sea. 22 Oct 1942 from Cairo to Takoradi by Sabena thence to UK by sea. 7 Aug 1943 from Cairo via Khartoum, Kano & Lagos by BOAC then by American ATC to Miami. Also two envs. from Egypt via the rarer Pacific route with Feb 1941 env from Cairo to Rangoon by BOAC Imperial route. Rangoon - Lashoi - Kunming - Chungking - Hong Kong by CNAC Then by Pan Am from Hong Kong to San Francisco. Plus another similar env. All with adhesives paying the correct postage.
