Sir Edmund Harry Elton - An Elton Ware (Clevedon Sunflower Pottery) A vase, circa 1890-1900, slip decorated with dark blue and green glaze and raised trailing foliage, painted mark, 27cm high; together with a jug, circa 1890-1900, slip decorated in dark green, decorated in relief with roses and other flowers, painted mark, 22cm high (2) Condition:Vase - Firing flaw to foot rim - looks like a small chip but has been glazed over. Some scratches to glaze. No damages or repairs. Small areas of glaze loss to very small areas of the raised foliage - e.g. leaf tip. Jug - Some crazing to glaze noted. A couple of short minor scratches to the surface of the body. No damages or repairs.
