A late 19th century French bronze-mounted boulle mantel clock In the Louis XIV style and of rectangular arched form with scroll inlaid decoration and applied scrolling and shell mounts, the swept top with floral basket finial, on scrolling feet, the sides with pierced rectangular sound grills, the front inset with a porcelain panel painted with putti, the gilt dial with enamelled Roman numerals, the eight day movement striking on a bell. 37cm high
