A London & North Western Railway nameplate, HEREFORDSHIRE, CREWE WORKS, NOVR 1909, from an Experiment Class 4-6-0 No 1455 which became LMS 5537 in 1927 and was withdrawn in December 1933. Brass, wax filled lettering, length 55¾", the front lightly polished. The nameplate is accompanied by a good quality hardwood mount and an original painting of the locomotive by Bernard Jones 27 "x"19. (Postage Band: N/A)
