A QUAINT IRISH DUBLINER INLAID MAHOGANY FOOT WARMER, manufacturer's label 'Arnotts & Co Ltd House Furnishers, Dublin', possibly of the late 1800s/early 1900s, complete with interior copper hot water flask; floral upholstery to the top lid, which is secured with a simple hook latch; frieze is inlaid with satinwood, all resting on bun feet; condition: upholstery in need of extensive repairs, but excellent potential to restore a piece of Irish furniture; 29x25x10cm; Arnott's was founded in Dublin in 1843 by Sir John Arnott on 12 Henry Street, Dublin, and was one of Ireland's preeminent department stores and cabinet makers.
