The black lacquer cover decorated in gilt, depicting two figures within a landscape setting attempting to hold on to a large bird of prey, Late 19th century, the album comprising mounted hand-coloured prints some with Grand Hotel, Noge Hill, Theatre Street, Mississippi Bay, Shinto Temple Hachiman all Yokohama; other views including Tokio, Nikko, Kioto and images of figures including titles of Selling Flowers, Eating Rice, Dancing Party and Marriage, fifty photos in total, with inscribed leather covered spine, 32 x 40cm, depth 5cm.
